Description:
A monitor placed on the floor shows a computer animation composed by nine
points framed within a rectangle. These points together represent a close
group of young people such as the youth of a small town or a circle of friends,
translated here in a delineated context (a rectangle). Aesthetically inspired
by video games of the 1980s, the development of the nine points reflects,
as if it were a game, the behaviour and decisions of each member in choosing
a partner in a delineated space. The animation is a reflection on love: is
love determinate by a self-motivated process? Can it also be found, if "chosen",
in front of the own eyes?
